Be careful not to do your ‘acts of righteousness’ before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.

As we enter Lent, remember that whatever you’re doing - giving something up or making a positive change - that you do it for God and not for the eyes of others. Practice discipline and self-control, and find strength in Him when you think you can’t.
